Auxiliary service defaults¶
Settings → Tenant Settings → Auxiliary Services (tenant admins) sets tenant-wide defaults for the sidecar services agents derive beside their main model:
- Private prompt voice (TTS) — the voice that speaks payment, secure-capture, and guided-flow prompts while the main model is out of the loop.
- Guided-flow ears (STT) — the speech-to-text that listens during a guided flow while the main model is paused.
- Guided matcher model (SLM) — the small language model used for fuzzy option matching and entity extraction in guided flows.
The cascade¶
For each slot, an agent resolves the first of:
- A per-agent override on the stage (Properties → Auxiliary services)
- The agent's stack defaults (for stack-based agents)
- These tenant defaults
- The platform's built-in table, matched to the agent's own provider — including voice continuity, so the private prompt voice sounds like the agent rather than a different person mid-call
Leaving a slot on No tenant default keeps the provider-matched built-ins, which is the right choice for most tenants — set a default here only when you want every agent to use one specific service (for example, a contracted ElevenLabs voice or a preferred matcher model).
Notes¶
- Saves take effect within about a minute — no restart, and mid-call agents pick the change up on their next call.
- The Integration ID field is optional; when blank, each agent uses its own stage's credential integration.
- Anything you pick must be a service combination the platform supports (the same provider/service list the pipeline editor offers). A broken entry is ignored at runtime — the agent falls back to the built-in default — so a typo degrades gracefully rather than breaking calls.
