Surfaces and branding¶

A branding profile (managed under Branding) is a named, reusable set of visual settings for the customer-facing chat surface. Define one per brand or product line, then assign it to an agent.
Open Branding¶
From the left nav, open Branding. You see a table of every branding profile in your tenant, showing its name, colors, and logo. Click New Branding to create one, or a row to edit it.
An agent that has no branding profile falls back to default branding, so you only need to create one when you want a custom look.
What a branding profile controls¶
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Name / description | How you identify the profile when picking it. |
| Colors | Primary, secondary, and header background colors. |
| Header logo | Logo shown in the surface header. |
| Loading logo / loading text | What the user sees while the agent connects. |
| Feature flags | Toggle UI elements: show header, show transcript toggle, show expand/collapse, show text input, allow image upload, and show reasoning traces. |
Attaching a surface to an agent¶
You pick a surface configuration on the agent itself, under its branding/presentation settings — see Creating an agent. Changing the config updates every agent that references it.
Note: Deleting a surface configuration makes any agent using it fall back to default branding. It does not break the agent.
