Creating and editing a branding profile

Status: Current | Last reviewed: 2026-09-01

You create and edit branding profiles under Branding. Each one controls the visual and feature settings for a customer-facing chat surface.

Create a branding profile

  1. From the left nav, open Branding.
  2. Click New Branding.
  3. Fill in the branding fields:
  4. Name — how you'll identify this profile when assigning it.
  5. Description — optional, a note on what brand or product it's for.
  6. Colors — primary, secondary, and header background colors.
  7. Header logo — the logo shown in the surface header.
  8. Loading logo / loading text — what the user sees while the agent connects.
  9. Set the feature flags for what the UI shows:
  10. Show header
  11. Show transcript toggle
  12. Show expand/collapse
  13. Show text input
  14. Allow image upload
  15. Show reasoning — shows reasoning/tool trace events in the chat timeline for services that emit them. Leave this off for normal customer-facing surfaces unless you intentionally want those traces visible.
  16. Save.

Edit or delete

Open Branding, click the profile's row to edit it, or use the row actions to delete. Edits apply to every agent that references the profile the next time it loads.

Note: Logos are referenced by URL — host the image somewhere the customer's browser can reach, then paste the link. There's no file upload in the branding editor.
