Review the Alder Homeworks Scenes¶
Status: Current | Last reviewed: 2026-10-20
These four fictional product-support journeys demonstrate how an organization can guide people and their assistants to supported service channels.
| Scene | What to watch |
|---|---|
| Guided return and video inspection | Ari navigates product support, uses website chat, asks Alex to verify by SMS, books video, then Jordan authorizes the return in Salesforce |
| From a saved number to the right channel | Ari finds a phone number in email, declares itself in the IVR and follows a spoken web handoff |
| Resolve through guided support | Airflow checks resolve a vacuum issue without a human queue |
| An assistant prepares, the owner confirms | Ari prepares the compatible accessory and complete quote; Alex confirms before purchase |
Find Alder Homeworks in Agents and open a Scene. Select Play recording, or choose a chapter and Play chapter. Use Preview to enlarge the stage. Scrub the playback position to inspect any step. These are authored demonstrations; the displayed bookings, queue changes and purchases are simulated.
Give feedback and adjust the script¶
Edit spoken lines in their cards. Open Voice & timing to regenerate an edited line or change its delivery. The opening introduces Alex, his faulty espresso machine and Alder Homeworks as an appliance company. Narration explains the scenario while actions continue; it does not read typed chats and has no subtitles. Spoken Alex/Jordan dialogue is reserved for the video call.
The revised Guided return and video inspection Scene runs about 4:37. Its main steps are:
- Ari selects visual product tiles through Kitchen → Coffee & espresso → Barista Pro → Brewing problems & returns at
alderhomeworks.com/supportand opens product chat. Thinking, composing and sending are visible before messages arrive. - The chat sends a verification SMS to Alex. Alex completes the normal phone verification experience.
- Chat displays appointment widgets. Ari asks Alex about the time, then books the confirmed slot.
- On Thursday, the phone home screen receives a push from Ari. Alex opens a fresh reminder conversation, follows the appointment link, allows camera/microphone access in Safari and joins while the short camera preview plays once.
- Jordan receives the Video Call in Salesforce. Video and Details tabs sit in the center; the left sidebar uses a separate profile photo of Alex, and Agent Assist shows rich suggestions and coaching on the right.
- Alex starts with the camera paused; both participants remain audible. Jordan asks him to show the machine and press Brew. The camera turns from Alex to the machine; a brief pour stops and E17 appears.
- Jordan asks to inspect the right side and serial label. The next shots continue from matching frames, move closer, and let Alex confirm AHBP900-26100482 before Jordan records it.
- Alex pauses the camera. Jordan completes the Return request form while the call remains connected. The floating preview shows Jordan during the authorization.
In a Guided service screen moment, edit breadcrumbs, text, product, choices and displayed details. Show website support chat displays the conversation alongside the product page. Service chat → Website chat widget edits its details, appointment options, status and action. Open website support chat starts this customer session without the IVR pairing code.
The Customer Video chapter stage uses the standard mobile browser shell. Change Customer video state in a Guided service screen moment to show portal, permission, preview, waiting, connected, rear camera, paused or ended states. The permission prompt is part of the recording; it does not request access to your own camera. Personal-assistant chapters can set a phone clock, date label and Conversation history → Fresh conversation for this chapter.
For an Ari reply, enable Think during this moment, then deliver the reply. Its duration controls the thinking bubble. Assistant action → Push notification shows a banner over the current screen; a subsequent phone action opens the assistant. Website messages have a pause before typing and visibly press Send at delivery.
Jordan's chapter uses Salesforce record tabs and the existing form controls. Assist sections can use Rich guidance card, choose recommendation/coaching/completion styling, and provide a policy or context source. Offer a record action opens another tab; this powers Review return authorization. Evidence and serial verification are recorded after their inspection.
The other Alder examples still use their original scripts and optional persistent guidance cards. Those authored cards distinguish owner identity, assistant assessment and authority.
Use visual cues to adjust the highlighted area, cursor movement and click. The email search activity and its completed result are editable in the personal-assistant chapter. The saved-number script provides a spoken address and code because Ari cannot receive a text message.
Review or regenerate the inspection video¶
- Open Jordan inspects the machine in Salesforce and expand Barista Pro · Brief brew, early stop and E17. The older saved-number Scene keeps its Thursday · the human inspection chapter.
- Use Preview for a take; use Compare to show another beside it.
- Edit Video prompt, connection, model, reference image, duration, resolution or Framing. The product footage uses Portrait phone · 9:16 and Display in → Mobile / Salesforce customer camera. Jordan's separate track uses Salesforce representative camera.
- Choose Regenerate video. Generation uses the configured ElevenLabs account and credits. Your current take stays selected while the new job runs.
- When complete, preview the new take and explicitly select it.
- Expand Placement, trim and display overlay. Adjust the footage's position, trim and E17 text placement/timing.
- Check the Brew press, coffee flow, stop and error markers against the selected take. Mark I reviewed event timing against this take.
You can also Upload video: up to 100 MB and 120 seconds. The saved footage is silent so the Scene's dialogue and sound effects remain separate. Reopening Director restores saved generation status. If a submission could not be confirmed, check the provider's generation history before starting another take.
The revised footage stops after a short pour, with the display stabilized and an error sound on the separate audio timeline. The kitchen selfie has looping disabled and joins after a brief preview. E17 is an editable overlay; the serial close-up shows the same number entered in the form.
Jordan's generated portrait video is driven by the saved dialogue audio through ElevenLabs lip-sync, including silence for listening. If you change the spoken dialogue or its timing, rebuild the synchronized track using the documented authoring script, or upload a replacement performance. The regular Regenerate video control creates silent Veo footage; it does not regenerate lip-sync.
Use Export after the script has saved and all required voice/video takes are ready. The MP4 uses the same selected footage, overlays, sounds and timeline as playback. See Director for general authoring and export controls.
