Agent editor notifications¶
Status: Current | Last reviewed: 2026-09-30
Select Notifications in the agent editor header to review current errors and warnings. The bell also appears in full-screen Preview. Readiness warnings refer to the draft or published version you have open. Switching versions runs a fresh check for that version.
Each issue has a plain-language label and guidance on what to check. Technical field names and paths are simplified in the summary; original diagnostics remain available in View details. An empty list says You’re all caught up. If an issue blocks publishing or Preview, that restriction appears below its label. Validation warnings are advisory; review them before deciding whether to continue.
Select View details for the affected setting, service, or diagnostic reason. Details start collapsed so long technical messages do not crowd the list. You can focus View details with Tab and expand or collapse it with Enter or Space.
| Example label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Configuration needs review | A setting does not match the expected format. Expand details to find the affected setting. |
| Conditional prompts only update at call start | This voice provider does not refresh conditional instructions during the call. Use text output and a separate Text-to-Speech stage if you need live updates. |
| More than one voice may speak | Several stages can produce audio. Check that the overlap is intentional. |
| A service connection needs attention | The selected integration needs checking. |
| Procedure checks need a model | Configure a Logic checker model for judged procedure steps. |
| Changes could not be saved | Keep the editor open and retry saving. |
The count includes individual validation issues. Two issues with the same label can refer to different stages; expand their details to distinguish them. Resolved checks clear automatically. Dismissible action messages have a close button; dismissing a message does not correct its cause.
Nova refreshes changed instructions automatically after the current response and tool work finish. Its former six-minute prompt-refresh warning no longer applies. See Agent Logic for turn timing and session continuity.
See the pipeline editor guide for Preview, saving, and publishing.
